Pick a shopping area first
Kuta and Sanur are different outings. For Kuta, choose Discovery Mall or Beachwalk as your main mall, then consider a suitable Krisna souvenir branch. ICON Bali belongs to a Sanur day, with a coastal walk or café if the weather suits. Choose the area closest to your stay and the shops that interest you. Trying to visit every mall leaves less time to browse. Discovery has a beachfront setting; Beachwalk includes open-air spaces, so neither should be treated as an entirely indoor weather guarantee.
Labelled prices make a useful starting point
Krisna’s catalogue displays prices, which helps with planning a souvenir budget. Check the actual branch, the price tag and the amount at the till. A visible price does not guarantee the lowest price in Bali. Some market stalls bargain while nearby shops use displayed prices. Ask the retailer whether the price is final before agreeing. You choose what to buy and pay the store directly. A driver enquiry is not a shopping voucher or a promise of a discount.
Make a small list and leave room for a break
Tell Simson whether you want everyday gifts, clothes, homewares or a relaxed browse. Set your spending limit separately from the car quote and allow space for bags. Check sizes, condition and exchange terms before paying. Photograph the receipt if useful, and keep purchase details for your own records. If a café or lunch matters, make it part of the plan rather than trying to fit it in after several distant stops. You can swap a shop without making the day busier.
A shopping day that works for the family
Mum’s shopping day can still have an easy pace for everyone. Pick one main mall and a meal break, and check any children’s activities directly with the venue. Discuss stroller space, mobility needs and a clear meeting entrance. Do not assume a mall activity offers drop-off childcare. A waterpark or large theme park deserves a different day; a short optional browse afterward is more realistic than promising two full attractions.
Agree a quote for the outing you actually want
A few hours of shopping needs its own transport enquiry. Rafa’s published Rp1,500,000 rate is for 12–14-hour day hire; it is not a fixed shopping package price. Send your hotel, date, passengers, preferred stores, visit length and return point. Agree the car price, waiting and any extra stops with Simson. Purchases, meals and paid mall activities are separate. Then enjoy the shops at your pace with the return already planned.
